Title Project: Measuring the Security and reliability of Authentication of Social Networking Sites

Description: In this paper new proposed scheme is introduced of how to select the trustees in order to minimize the attacks and increases the security of the system.The, various authentication techniques are introduced which have their own advantages and disadvantages. The proposed Trustee –based authentication method is used to recover user’s account by sending security codes to user’s trustees who is more reliable than the existing system, which uses security questions to recover the user’s account.The proposed strategy uses the sum of three verification code to recover password in contrast to existing systems which uses any one of verification coders. The proposed system uses Blowfish algorithm is used for data dissemination from one user to another user, providing a high level of security. Blowfish algorithm is used for encryption and decryption .In future the paper involves the SQL injection based attacks in the social networks and also checking on the usability level of bit stuffing length.

Title Project: A study of e-commerce adoption by tourism websites

Description: Discussion and conclusions The findings indicate that Chinese tourism websites are not effectively utilizing the Internet to its full potential. Most tourism websites focus on the provision of basic information services, especially the OTWs that are funded by the government, and are a convenient tool used by travelers to learn about a destination. They provide product information, in order to attract more tourists to the destination, and further enhance customer satisfaction. The AWs in China mostly are established on behalf of a scenic area management committee or tourism enterprises. This may partially explain the lack of product information, reservation and payment options, and CRM features on their websites. As most online tourism booking is done through OTAs, there is inadequate investment in e-commerce adoption. In addition, applications of reservations, payment, and CRM dimensions were not well deployed by CTWs. With increasing competition, CTWs cannot only provide basic information; they should adopt further e‐commerce features. Visitors would benefit if the websites provided such services to make shopping possible which, in turn, would facilitate tourism development at the destination.

In this paper, research is presented that undertakes the study of the tourism demand in the city of Cordoba, a World Heritage city.

Research

Description: Abstract As consumers become better informed and more demanding about their purchase of services, service provider’s failure to satisfy all consumers during delivery of service is unavoidable. Consequently, to alleviate consumer dissatisfaction that results from service failure has become important. However, empirical consensus has been lacking on the effects of various service recovery activities. Thus, this study examines the impact of different types of service recovery on customers’ perceptions of justice, post-recovery satisfaction, and word-of-mouth (WOM) intentions. The results indicated that consumers’ perceptions of distributive and interactional justice differ by the types of service recovery and supported significant relationships among perceptions of justice, satisfaction, and WOM intentions. The results implied that consumers respond differently to different types of service recovery and that consumers particularly favor apology among types of service recovery

Description: Abstract Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to identify the level of disclosure about mobile banking (MB) on bank websites. Design/methodology/approach – The study sample comprises Brazilian and American banks, and the authors employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches to analyze the data. An index of 14 items was used to measure levels of disclosure. The quantitative stage involved descriptive analysis of disclosure levels, which was associated with other variables through the application of multivariate regression analysis. The qualitative stage involved a content analysis technique. Findings – The statistical analysis indicated that size and country were significant explanatory variables for the level of information disclosed on bank websites. American banks disclosed more information about MB on their websites than Brazilian banks. Originality/value – In the approach, using elements of voluntary disclosure theories, the authors expect to provide insights on how to increase MB information for potential users through a low-cost mechanism, web-based disclosure. Conclusions The aim of this paper was to identify the level of disclosure about MB on bank websites. In order to measure the level of disclosure about MB on bank websites, we used an index consisting of 14 items selected from the literature. Some potential determinants of the level of disclosure were also exploited using quantitative tools. Both quantitative and qualitative results showed that Brazilian banks have lower levels of disclosure about MB when compared with American banks. The main difference between their disclosure levels was related to disclosures about security. We observed that American banks included more information concerning security and financial loss protection guarantees offered to MB users. Although cultural elements are not the only factors affecting disclosure practices, cultural differences between Brazil and the USA may explain these results. Previous studies pointed out that disclosure is negatively related to Uncertainty Avoidance and Power Distance, and positively related to the Masculinity and Individualism dimensions of culture. Our results are in line with these previous studies. Despite the significant difference in the disclosure levels between Brazilian and American banks, they all have areas for improvement. For instance, banks could do the following: (1) use more videos to demonstrate how to use MB and how secure it is; (2) show how much MB transactions represent of their total transactions;
